UK Govt. Decided To Open Its First National Cyber Security Centre to Defeat Hackers!

 

 

Doesn’t matter how developed the country is, but when we talk about cyber security we can’t say anything. Technology is growing rapidly and hackers are also developing their brains to bypass security techniques. Recently, Government of United Kingdom has decided to open its first NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) in London to keep the hackers and terrorists away from both Government and private organizations. Hackers are also targeting banks and financial organizations therefore UK have decided to start this anti cybercrime with more than 700 security experts. After launching this NCSC, United Kingdom will be one from the most advanced country in field of cyber security.

 

Motive of UK Govt. behind This?

  • Govt. of UK wants to fight against cyber crooks, hackers, scammers, terrorists and terrorism supporters.
  • Govt. is worried about National Banks of United Kingdom, that why they will spend a lot of pounds to protect its financial sector.

Who will lead this National Cyber Security Centre?

The former director general of Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) Ciaran Martin, will lead this new NCSC. Martin said, we want to make UK a safest place ever that anyone could do online business without any worry. Martin also said, our first project will be with "Bank of England”. We will work with Bank of England to analyze all the possible financial cyber threats. So it is clear that, first of all UK will protect its financial sector after that NCSC will move towards corporate sector.

According to Ciaran Martin, Normal Users are not that much aware about cyber-attacks. That’s the reason, why hackers easily manipulate them to steal their sensitive information. These programs will tackle both the small and big cyber threats. Moreover, to protect corporate world of United Kingdom NCSC will design new security policies. These security policies will help the companies to defeat hackers. The most valuable thing for a company is its database. Martin said, the motive of NCSC is to take the level of cyber threat risks to zero.

 

Mr Ben Gummer (Minister of UK Paymaster General and Cabinet Office) stated that NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre will be a very important part of United Kingdom’s growth. We are ready to provide all the required support to the security experts and head of NCSC. Cyber Attacks are very harmful activities because it can bring down the growth of any country. He also said that UK is leading the whole world in a number of ways already, after the establishment of this National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) UK will be in the list of most advanced countries against cyber threats. UK is about to lead the world to handle this global issue. NCSC will work under a “Open-Door” policy, which means it will provide cyber security to any type of business.
