Hackers Tweeted on Sony Music’s Twitter Account About Death of Britney Spears

Recently, someone posted a tweet about the death of famous American singer “Britney Jeans Spears” on the official twitter account of Sony Music Entertainment. The company deleted the tweet and said that their account was hacked by someone. The Sony Music apologies from “Britney Spears” and all of her fans. Moreover, the hackers also posted the same thing on the twitter account of “Bob Dylan” (Songwriter and Singer). After some time, he deleted the tweet.
During a talk with CNN, Adam Leber (the spokesperson of the famous pop star) said that she is fine and well. He also said the twitter account of Sony Music was hacked. The spokesperson said that it is not the first time when someone is spreading rumors about Britney Spear’s death. The internet clowns are doing this from years but from Sony Music’s account, it happened the first time.
The hackers posted the following tweets:
"RIP @britneyspears #RIPBritney 1981-2016”
and
“Britney spears is dead by accident! We will tell you more soon #RIPBritney.”
The Hackers Behind This Hack
According to the security experts, it might be “OurMine Hacking Group” behind this hack. This notorious group of hackers is targeting high profile people to get the attraction. The same hackers hacked the Pinterest account of Facebook founder “Mark Zuckerberg” twice. The recent hack of Netflix twitter account also belongs to these hackers. The list of OurMine Hacking Group’s targets is very long. They also hacked the accounts of Google CEO Sunder Pichai and Twitter Co-founder Evan Willians. They are also running a security firm. It seems like they are finding clients by hacking high profile twitter accounts.
The Sony Music also posted two tweets which are directly showing that their account has been hacked by OurMine Hackers. Have a look at the tweets:
