Official Vodafone twitter account hacked, Did you see that?

[caption id="attachment_714" align="aligncenter" width="526"]Vodafone Twitter account hacked Vodafone Twitter account hacked[/caption] India's popular telecommunication company Vodafone twitter account was hacked last week. The hackers posted incongruous tweets and sent messages to its followers.

Vodafone Twitter account hacked

Vodafone has a verified twitter account with over 1, 95,000 followers. The method with which the twitter account was hacked is not verified but conjectures are made related to some phishing technique or weak password. The hacker posted inappropriate tweets. Within 2 hours the Vodafone changed the password and deleted all the fake tweets. This much time was enough for the followers to make fun of Vodafone. Few weeks ago Israeli army twitter account was hacked by Syrian Electronic army due to a 16-year-old boy murder case. Two days back Wall street journal Facebook page was hacked.
