Chile Defence Ministry's website was hacked on late Monday night with hacker leaving a message Hacked on the homepage along with the username as Saddam Hussein on the official website.

Sorry Admin Because Your Site Security is Low We Are ISIS, read the message in english on the homepage while the message in the Spanish read, "Somos ISIS, no me olviden (We are ISIS, don't forget me) & al es el nico DIOS (allah is the only GOD).
The hack occurred around 22:30(national time) but lasted for just a few minutes. The page was removed by early tuesday while the traffic was redirected to subsecretary of Chile's defence website.
The situation activated the corresponding alarms, measures were adopted and sensitive information from the ministry was not put at risk,
stated the official statement released by the Defence ministry which also mentioned about the no compromise on other sensitive information as well as the email security.
The ministry is planning to investigate the matter with a logical conclusion of identifying the perpetrators behind the attacks. Over the past few years Chile's government websites have been attacked by the hackers but this is the first incident involving the extremist Islamist group.
