DroidJack users! Prison is waiting for you!
In European countries, Authorities has announced that they have start an operation to arrest the cyber criminals, which are using DroidJack named RAT (Remote Administration Tool).

According to a recent research conducted by Recorded Future, Android RATs are very popular among the cyber criminals. In the Middle East and Africa DroidJack and AndroRAT are mostly used RATs.
In Europe, Mobile spyware is also in very high use by the cyber criminals. The applications like DroidJack allow the criminals to intercept or send SMS messages, browser history, sensitive data, call logs, contacts and user credentials.
A number of cyber crime cases have been seen by the German Agencies due to DroidJack Android spyware. So now the German Prosecutors have started an operation to disassemble the organizations, which are in contact with DroidJack spyware. Now the European Law enforcement of many countries has coordinated their efforts to disassemble the cyber criminal gangs behind Droidjack campaign. Europol and Eurojust are the security agencies of Europe, which are conducting raids in Britain, Belgium, Switzerland and France. This operation is going on under the European Law and Enforcement.
In an official statement Europol said,” On 27 October with the help of Europol , Eurojust and Germany, Law Enforcement officials initiate an investigation in Germany , France, Belgium, Britain, Switzerland and the United states. In result they carried out a number of house searches and a number of suspected criminals were arrested, which were using mobile phone malware DroidJack. This malware allows cyber criminals to take the access of Smartphones without the permission of the mobile owners.”
During this operation European police targeted the individuals, which were using the DroidJack. They also targeted them which were using RATs in 2014 and 2015.But the prosecutor of Frankfurt confirmed to AFP that these individuals had no links with the cyber criminals. In Switzerland, police initiate one search but they had not found a single cyber criminal since now. In France, the authority had arrested three or four people, which were buying DroidJack. But after that they release them because they were not using it for crime.
